worst sound system ever
By NY Rick on Saturday, March 16, 2019
There is NO ability to adjust the sound between front and rear. May as well not have rear speakers. Lexus told me that the car was designed that way. If so, the designer should be hung. Worse sound than the radio on my first car - a 1957 Plymouth. Had I "test drove" the radio before buying, I would have walked right out the door. And - while the car does everything better than my 2014 model (better build, quieter, faster, tighter, better handling, more room) the bad radio and the dangerous touchpad controller for the info system (you cannot change anything using that touchpad without looking away from the road) make me regret buying it - 5.0
This is my six Lexus including an LS460, GS350, IS

This is my six Lexus including an LS460, GS350, IS350, but by far this is the best car Lexus has made. The seats are extremely comfortable, quiet, excellent power, and you get quite a bit for the money. As far as the reviews on the radio and the mouse pad they are true, but this is minor compared to the car as a whole. Excellent!!!! - 4.0
Great on the big things but missing the little
By Will on Saturday, November 30, 2019
I think the ES350 is a beautiful car. And after driving several other cars, the v6 feels very powerful. The ride is quiet and smooth. The interior is refined. The not-leather seats are perforated, heated and cooled. The dash and doors have matching wood trim that is wonderful to look at. So why am I less than 5 star feeling? Because for $44k I don't have anywhere to put my sunglasses. The only USB plugs are under two covers in the center console and plugging in my phone means blocking a cup holder and the CD player. My 2011 Mustang has configurable ambiance lighting and dash display, but not this car. I can choose analog or digital speedometer, but not the background or the colors. And it has remote start but that isn't mentioned anywhere. Instead they tell you to subscribe to Enform service to use remote start. But I found out that using the door lock button to Press, Press, Hold will remote start the car. So a great car that has enough small problems to annoy me. As far as value goes, you can get the same features in an Avalon or an Accord for $10k less.
